Our Student Event Ambassador role is a fantastic opportunity for you.

We're on the lookout for students to join our network of Student Event Ambassadors. As a Student Event Ambassador you will support with the delivery and success of events on campus. You will contribute to create a great first experience whilst representing the college and the student voice. From being the first friendly welcome at College Open Days to helping visitors find their way around campus you'll need to be confident at approaching new people and offering great customer service.

What you'll do:

• Support the Marketing Team to deliver successful events
• Represent the college and your course at events such as Open Days, Course Introduction Meetings and Fairs
• Welcome students and parent/carers to college events
• Encourage students and parent/carers to get involved with activities
• Help and assist students and parent/carer to find rooms and navigate the campus
• Approach and help students and parent/carers
• Talk and answer questions about your course and student life
• Set up and pack down events

You will need to be available to help support with all or some of the College Open Days on the dates and times below:

Saturday 4 November - 8am - 1pm
Saturday 2 March - 8am - 1pm
Saturday 15 June - 8am - 1pm

Student Social Media Ambassador

Our Student Social Media Ambassador role is a fantastic opportunity for you.

We're on the lookout for creative and social savvy students to help generate content and represent the student voice on the college social media accounts. From creating content that jumps on trends to vlogging your day you'll need to be confident at creating content that will showcase student life.

What you'll do:

• Generate ideas for social media content that resonates with you and your age group
• Keep up to date with current trends
• Appear in, produce and edit engaging video content and reels for TikTok, Instagram and You Tube etc
• Encourage students to get involved in content
• Represent the college at events to capture social media content
• Positively promote the College on social media

Trainee Hire Desk Controller

To provide a professional advice and booking service for all ranges of powered access equipment to our customers. This can be with regards to the Liftright fleet as well as the complete range of equipment from Alliance partner companies for x-hire.

Day to Day Duties:

• Responding to customer enquiries about powered access equipment for hire and x-hire
• Pro-actively promoting the company at all times.
• Developing professional relationships with internal and external clients
• Setting up customer hire contracts
• Negotiating costs
• General administration
• Working with Admin Director in the preparation of weekly invoices
• Up to the minute knowledge of “What’s Out Where” in terms of LRA fleet and x-hires.
• Preparing the appropriate Delivery/Collection Notes for Drivers.

Main Skills required:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Good maths knowledge
• Ability to work well in a small team
• Highly organised and motivated
• General Administration skills
