Youth clubs - for young people on the autistic spectrum aged 10-17 years to get involved with activities to improve their communication and social skills as well as experience opportunities out in the community. approx 3 hours (day of the week varies)
Additional Services - If you can commit to groups every week then perhaps you can support with additional activities during half terms, weekends and holidays for young people and children to enjoy.

Stop and Search Scrutiny Panel Member

Bedfordshire Police are looking to create a youth Stop and Search scrutiny panel for people from the ages of 15 to 20 years old. As part of the panel members will be reviewing live body worn footage from officers and the paperwork they submit and give their feedback.
We are really interested in getting feedback from the younger demographic. This is a long term project and we need people who are passionate and committed! You will be required to attend a meeting once a month from 6pm-8pm the date will be agreed with all participants in advance.
What it will involve:
The panel will include members from all backgrounds and will be set up once we have approximately 25-30 people who are selected – This will be decided once we have a list of all potential.
As part of the panel members will be watching body worn footage of officers completing stop and search and the duties of the panel will be do decide whether the search was lawful or unlawful.
Training will be given in advance so you know what you are looking for.

The main purpose of these roles is to assist with the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen areas under the supervision of the Food and Beverages Manager and to provide excellent customer service. Some of your main responsibilities will be to ensure service of food items is correct and to a high standard, ensure the correct use of kitchen equipment, ensure all rubbish is removed from dining areas and to ensure crockery and kitchen equipment is washed correctly and stored safely.
There are also some opportunities to get involved with setting up events such as weddings, parties, funerals.
